Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They serve various purposes, some make a site work at all, some remember your preferences, some report aggregate usage to the site owner, and some track you across multiple sites for advertising. Fractional Coordinator uses only the first three kinds. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not allow third parties to use this site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What we use

• Strictly necessary cookies. A small number of cookies that are required for the site and its checkout to function: a session identifier, a CSRF protection token, and a cookie that remembers whether you have dismissed the announcement banner at the top of the page. These cannot be disabled without breaking functionality.
• Stripe checkout cookies. When you reach the cohort checkout page, our payment processor Stripe sets cookies necessary to process your payment securely. Stripe’s cookie practices are described in Stripe’s Cookie Policy.
• Preference cookies. If you sign in to the OnePointe portal or the FC client portal, we set a cookie that keeps you signed in across page loads. The cookie expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity.

What we don’t use

• Advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not run ads. We do not place pixels for Facebook, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or any other advertising platform.
• Cross-site tracking. No third-party trackers follow you from this site to another. No data brokers receive your visit information.
• Session-replay or heatmap tools. We do not record your mouse movements, keystrokes, or scrolling behavior. We do not use Hotjar, FullStory, or similar tools.
• Web analytics that share data with the analytics provider. If we add analytics in the future, it will be a privacy-respecting tool (Plausible, Fathom, or self-hosted) that does not share visitor data with the provider for their own purposes. We will update this policy if we add it.

How to control cookies

Browsers let you accept, reject, or delete cookies. Each browser has its own controls, generally found under Settings > Privacy. Useful documentation:

If you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, particularly the checkout flow, will not work. We do not block your access to other content for declining non-essential cookies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Modern browsers and privacy extensions can send signals indicating you do not want to be tracked. Because we do not track visitors across sites for advertising or analytics purposes, these signals do not change our behavior, we already operate as if you had sent them. If we add analytics in the future, we will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and the “Effective” date above. Material changes (for instance, adding any cookie that processes personal information for a new purpose) will be flagged at the top of this page for 30 days.
