Winter Retreat in Vail

Eighteen seats at 8,150 feet. The smaller of the two retreats, in winter, for practitioners who want the room tighter still.

The week

Five movements, worked rather than presented

Forty hours across five days, worked rather than presented. Both retreats run the same five movements.

01Where your program actually standsAn honest audit of the file you brought, against the standard a reviewer would apply. Most people arrive certain about one thing and leave less certain about it.
02Intake and supportive measuresThe first twenty-four hours, worked through on real material. Notice, options, documentation, and the decisions that quietly set the ceiling on everything after.
03Evidence and interviewingTrauma-informed technique under pressure, with your own drafts marked up by a practitioner who will tell you what is wrong with them.
04Findings and the recordWriting a determination someone else can follow. Standard of proof, reasoning made visible, and the parts of a report that fail on appeal.
05What you take backYour program, rebuilt on paper, with the sequence and the instruments to put it in place. You leave with a plan, not a folder.

How a place is allocated

Seats are not sold openly. That is what keeps the room candid enough for people to bring the matter they are actually stuck on.

AccessBy referral from a practitioner who has attended, or by institutional sponsorship. There is no open registration.
CreditForty hours of hour-by-hour attendance documentation, provided for self-submission to your own accrediting body.
FacultyEvery session is taught by a practitioner who carries this work. Faculty is announced to registered attendees ahead of the program.
What the fee coversThe program itself, including all materials and the instruments you take back. Travel and accommodation are not included.
